1. Create new Story

1.1. Open Stories builder

Go to http://story.clevermaps.io and log in with your account. You should see the Stories builder main page with an empty list of stories with “No data to display“ text. It is OK since you do not have any stories yet.

1.2. Create a new story

Click “New story” to create a story. Fill the Title of your story with “ATM network optimization“ and select your project “ATM network“ created in Prerequisites. Click “Save“.

1.3. Get to know editor page

You end up at the Story editor page. At the top, you see a Top panel with three buttons.

1. Button to leave the editor and return to the list of all your stories.

2. Link to see your final Story. It opens a new browser tab. We recommend saving the Story before you click it.

3. Disabled save button. The button enables automatically when there is any change. The Story is not saved automatically. We suggest saving your work from time to time.

Click “View story“. You should see an empty story as captured in the screenshot beside. Congratulation, you've just created your first story. Let's fill it with content.

1.4. Edit story settings

We fill the main settings of the story and add elementary content to the Home chapter. You see it is possible to change the title you filled in the previous step here.

Fill the headline with “Results of ATM network optimization“, and the subheading with “My department, 24 April 2023“, download this image and upload it as a background image.

Fill content with the text “In this interactive document we present findings of ATM network optimization analysis and suggest improvements.“

Click “Save” and then “View story“. You should see the same as captured in the screenshot beside.
